Snow?! What is snow?

Wow! Snow found its way down to our neck of the woods! The kids are bouncing off of the walls and tonight they will have dreams of having a snow day tomorrow. I had dreams of a day off but due to unreliable people, I will make my way back for a little OT.

Corey is now missing his 2 top front teeth and his 2 bottom front teeth. We thought that Santa and the Tooth Fairy were coming on the same night but as luck would have it, they did not. Corey was wondering how that would work. We explained that Santa and the Tooth Fairy have probably worked together before. He also had a good time time at Chuck E. Cheese for his birthday party. When he was smaller, he was so scared of Chuck E. Cheese. Grace wanted nothing to do with the big rat! But I must say, she did have a temp of 104*F. We think she was teething. She was all better the next day.

Tyler is working hard on his science fair project. It will be due soon. He also will be speaking at the Capital in February before the senators and possibly the Govenor! I will post some pics when he has that. I asked him if he was nervous and he just answered, "No, not yet."

What to do when you are bored on Saturday?

Ok, I'm not sure who gave the boys the geyser kit for Christmas, but Thank You! It has saved our Saturday. Diet Coke is on sale for .98 cents so this is something we can do. Awesome learning the science behind this too.

Happy 7th Birthday, Corey!

Today, Corey turns 7. It is hard to imagine that 7 years ago today at 10:05am, my 2nd sweet little baby was born. He has such a good personality. He loves making people laugh and has such a sly sense of humor.

Tyler is preparing for his 5th grade science project using concrete. He intends to show how concrete sets up differently by adding either too much water, or sugar, or other different ingrediants. Pete, Tyler, and Corey went to Thomas Concrete today to work on it. Grace and I decided to stay warm in the house and make some chili for supper.

Grace enjoys her baths and swing the most right now. We have to go get her ears rechecked tomorrow to see if her ear infection has cleared up and maybe get some immunizations. Yeah! What fun!
